F.A.Q.

Players must be at least 18 years old to attend. Players with college eligibility remaining should check with their school before registering. There is no age limit, only an age minimum. Please also refer to the PBL player eligibility requirements.

The tryout will take place from April 1-4, 2022, at the Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, AZ.  The Kino Sports Complex is the summer home to the Tucson Saguaros of the Pecos League and former Spring Training home for several MLB Clubs.

The four-day camp will feature pro-style skills sessions for all position players, a bullpen day for pitchers, and an extended intrasquad game with live pitching.

The PBL Clubs will hold a draft following the final day of the camp. Each of the ten PBL clubs have agreed to offer at least two camp attendees a 2022 spring training invitation following a post-camp draft.  

Players should bring all of their own equipment including baseball attire, cleats, helmets, bats, gloves etc. Baseballs will be provided as well as identification numbers that are to be worn on the players’ shirts.

The PBL scouting bureau, PBL club representatives and MLB scouts will be present to evaluate prospects.  

Ice water jugs will be provided. Players are encouraged to bring their own personal water bottles that can be filled up, although disposable cups will be available. Players should also bring their own lunch, there will be breaks in order to eat, but food will not be provided at the tryout.

ALL REGISTRATIONS AND PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. ONCE A PLAYER IS REGISTERED AND PAYMENT IS COMPLETE THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS ISSUED FOR ANY FURTHER PBL OR CWL EVENTS.

 

IN THE CASE OF CAMP BEING POSTPONED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER OR COVID-19, PLAYERS WILL BE ISSUED A CREDIT ONLY TO THE RESCHEDULED EVENT.

 

UPON COMPLETION OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, PARTICIPATING PLAYERS AGREE TO ALL TERMS ABOVE.
